HSP speak

Note the old truth about highly sensitive people: they feel the surroundings simply, plainly "more" than the normal around them. And it must be tons of stones "more" than someone with Asperger's around (they usually can't get the clue of this situation - like at all - I countless times witnessed Aspies claim to be HSPs themselves). I am a tad of damaged, or desensitised HSP, yet I do remember those unmanaged times of my sensitivity.

What's important about HSP, we recognise each other. We can recognise another HSP from comments they give on, let's say, third person's opinion. And when we are in a crowd, our scanning capabilities extend to the max, and yes, when someone we're friends with enters the room, we'd be uncomfortable not greeting each other.

Bref, it's cool to be a shy fish. Be sure to note that it is considered to be an evolutionary advantage.

A typical greeting conversation between two HSPs (note: no small talk, and no Aspie'ish clumsiness):

HSPOne: Hi HSPTwo, nice to see you again
HSPTwo: [smiles]
HSPTwo: Nice to see YOU!
HSPOne: Thank you
HSPTwo: how are the sensitives of [location]?
HSPOne: very.....sensitive :)

This sets both at ease. And communicates friendship. Even if based on nothing but a shared property of a very thin skin.
