The world is small and fantastic. Met someone from PBS' "This Emotional Life" today. Do not get me wrong, I do suspect this is North American-biased. But still, brilliant stuff.
"Everybody needs a wall tapper" is what got at me... Not even sure I should have watched it. Really, I learned to disregard this need after asking for it was brutally, painfully refused to me. Or is it that we don't get to choose? We don't get to point at the person and say "today, now, probably for the next few months, I will need you to tap harder. Hell, your tapping is invited for my entire lifetime, so will you please... tap?"
A friend of mine is missing since Friday morning. Three of us, across the continents and country borders, are worried about not tapping when needed. I talked to her Thursday evening, she was saying she was going to sleep. I kept on... building a kite for her. Today I am shitless scared.
