Today, reminded by awesome, brilliant and young nationals of mine, I brainstormed what American "liberal elite" would mean to me. So here: High-income (often) female tenured professor of physical science in Southern California, in an open marriage (therefore practices polyamory), campus (often) feminist activist who just bought an oversize house with a pool, does not know a thing about healthy food, hangs out a lot at Starbucks and has his/her stay-at-home spouse daily drive (in one of the two four-wheelers that their primary couple owns) their only child to a private school.
Totally biased.
